Limit your essays to 1 page per question, 1 ½” spacing, 1” margins on ALL sides including
header and footer. Use one quote from any of the texts related to each of your essays and cite
the quotes using MLA. For examples, “………………………” (Medina 55).
1) Choose either Day of the Dead or Queer Theology and discuss how it challenges a
Western patriarchal religious worldview. Be specific with at least three examples for
each essay.
2) Choose one of the healing practices in the text Voices from the Ancestors that interest
you the most and explain why they are of particular interest to you. How can the
practice assist you in your own life?
MUST ANSWER BOTH QUESTIONS ONE PAGE EACH.
Also, do not double space between paragraphs. Do not waste space with a large header!
