The articles should not be more than 10 years old. See Research Module here: Locating and Accessing Your References
The articles must address a population identical to the current study being conducted.
Ex: If you are conducting research about individuals ages 18 and older, literature about children is not relevant.
The articles must address a US. population (and its territories matching the population data in the database being used). Unless you are doing Macro (nationwide) we can discuss.
Ex: If you are conducting research about individuals in the U.S. and its territories, do not use articles about research conducted in Australia.
